Yashan, Shanudrie in ‘Mal Sihinaye’
View(s):‘Mal Sihinaye’, a beautiful duet sung by Yashan de Silva and Shanudrie Priyasad is the latest song to hit the Lankan music scene. Shanudrie Priyasa, the youngest daughter of the veteran Sri Lankan film director Dinesh Priyasad and the sister of popular movie stars Dinakshi and Sheshandri.
The lyrics of ‘Mal Sihinaye’ song was written by Gayathri Nisansala and the music direction was by Udara Fernando.
This is my latest song after ‘Raa Tharakawo’. The melody is very much Sri Lankan mass friendly and it mainly caters to the young generation. It is more close to pop than hip hop’ said popular young generation singer Yashan
‘Raa Tharakawo’, the remix version of Clarence Wijewardene’s hit song from the film ‘Suseema was released in November and it was an overnight hit for Yashan.
