As a part of IDM City Campus #3’s aim of giving students the international exposure IDM City Campus #3 organized EdHat International Convention 2012, which was held in last October, under the theme of “Quality & Relevance of Higher Education and the Employability of Graduates”, was a great experience for the students.
Dr.Mike Alderson, the Chief of Academic Awards of EdHat International – UK, Dr Bandu Ranasinghe – the Chairman of IDM Nations Campus Group of companies, Mr Lionel Perera – Director of Studies – IDM Nations Campus group of companies, Mr Janagan Vinayagamoorthy – Managing director of IDM Nations Campus Group of companies were the notable presences in that convention.
Students of IDM City Campus #3 from various parts of island were there in the Ramada Hotel for the convention, went through a selection process for the final presentation opportunity.
Miss Fariha Rahmathulla, to Miss Dilany Raju and Miss Farhana Rizvi were selected for the final presentation where Miss Fariha Rahmathulla was chosen as the best presenter, while Miss Dilany Raju and Miss Farhana Rizvi were 2nd and 3rd respectively.
All the students, including the mentioned three, were lucky to have received such a big international exposure as early as in the 2nd year of their Bachelor’s degree and IDM City Campus #3 continues to be the innovative educational institution in Sri Lanka which aims to make its students as youngest employable professional with international exposure.
