‘Dheyyo Sakki’ goes on the boards
View(s):‘Dheyyo Sakkhi’ a satirical comedy, stage play produced by Dr. Anura Chandrasiri will be staged at the Admiral Wasantha Krannagoda Auditorium of Trincomalee Navy Camp on the January 14 and Nugegoda Samudra Devi Balika on January 22.
A pun on our so-called commercial society, stars an experienced cast including Bandula Wijeweera, Menike Attanayake, Gunadasa Madurasinghe, Chinthani Hindurangala, Anoma Kumudini, Nirmani Perera, Venuri Wijeweera, Sanath Sri Malsara and Chaminda Prasad We all start our day with rituals and prayers, pleading to God to fulfill our dreams, desires and aspirations. What would happen if GOD (SAKKRA) himself appears in our presence? The reaction and the interaction of the mercenaries with the almighty is the subject of this humorous play.
Music by Bandula Wijeweera, make up by Jayantha Kapuge, lyrics and costume by Chinthani Hindurangala the play is scripted and directed by Dr. Anura Chandrasiri.
