The 60th Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Society of Rugby Football Union of Referees was held at the Auditorium of the Organisation of Professional Association yesterday. The meeting was attended by a large section of its members and the following were elected uncontested. Veteran Referee and long serving committee member who played for St. Peter’s College and Havelocks Sports Club, Orville Fernando was elected as president uncontested.

S.W. Chang and Metha Abeygunawardena were elected as vice presidents. Dinka Peries and Shamrath Fernando were re-elected as secretary and treasurer respectively. Past committee members are former presidents Nizam Jamaldeen and Dilroy Fernando while Major Upali Kotuwegedera, Gerald Rasiah and Fazly Razack are the committee members. Chula Dharmadasa is the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union representative. – VP
