Clarification

The Softlogic Group has written to the Business Times pointing out an error in last week’s story headlined “Laugfs buys Softlogic Capital” which referred to the sale of Softlogic Capital to Laugfs Group. Softlogic said the transaction with Laugfs Holdings Limited pertains to the sale of 67% of Softlogic Credit Limited and not of Softlogic Capital.

The Business Times article was based on an interview with Laugfs Chairman W. H. Wegapitiya. The newspaper regrets the error.
