The full range of engineering fields of specialization is covered with comprehensive curricular spanning 4 years which include industrial training in Sri Lanka and abroad. Of the full study period, 2 years of study is at SAITM, Sri Lanka and the final 2 years is at AIT, Thailand.
All Sri Lankan undergraduates at AIT, numbering around 150, are those who have transferred from SAITM after the successful completion of the first phase of the degree course under the expert guidance of an elite panel of professors and lecturers, drawn from highly recognized universities in Sri Lanka and abroad. They are undergoing a fulfilling and life changing experience at AIT with a multi cultural setting where they interact with students and lecturers from over 48 countries from all continents. It is heartening to see that out of 150 Sri Lankan undergraduates around 20 have secured merit scholarships at AIT based on their superior performances in semester exams. They will be joined by over 250 students from SAITM, currently in the 1st and 2nd years of study in Sri Lanka.
