Nalin, Corrine and Marians in Oman
View(s):One of the most versatile and dynamic musical bands in the country, Nalin and Marians with Corrine Almeida, another popular female artiste, is to showcase a grand performance in the Sultanate of Oman in February this year.
Due to the overwhelming request and popularity, the organizing Committee has embarked on a grander event in 2013 which is scheduled for February. Valentine’s Day being a special day for young and old, Thursday, February 14, 2013 will be the ‘Valentines Dinner Dance’ for all nationalities and musical show would be on Friday, February 15, 2013, both at Hotel Muscat Holiday Inn Al Khuwair.
Directed and produced by Nishantha Abeywardena who gave birth to the concept from the last show, this time is assisted by Rajitha Bandra and Ms. Sajeewa Jayasuriya with a vibrant and enthusiastic committee.
Speaking to the media, Nishantha Abeywardena said our organizing committee was so overwhelmed with the appreciate, love and encouragement received from Sri Lankan community after the last year’s show, which got on to top gear.
This year’s both shows to be call hurricane compared to the last show which was referred as a storm. Dinner Dance, open to all Nationalities is dedicated to those who want to enjoy sizzling music and dancing whilst celebrating Valentine’s Day with their loved ones to music and ambiance ever to be seen in Oman and the musical show would be as exciting and vibrant as the last show. Nishantha also mentioned that an exciting lightening show and world class sounds are included to make both these shows never to be forgotten by the participants.
Nalin and Marians have been in the music field for over 25 years entertaining all ages and
performing in many countries around the globe for dinner dances and muscial shows.
Corrine Almedia has also been in the musical industry for many years performing in Sri Lanka and around the world winning the hearts of all with her scintillating voice.
Profits of the show is to be utilized towards helping some ‘special needs’ persons as a contribution to the community and the Sultanate.
