The Casa Serena Gallery in co-operation with the Italian Embassy is currently hosting an exhibition of ten contemporary Sri Lankan artists which will be open to the public until January 27.

The artists embody the exhibition’s theme ‘Beauty in Diversity’ – they hail from diverse backgrounds- Sinhala Buddhist, Sinhala Catholic, Tamil Hindu, Tamil Catholic and Muslim, and from different parts of the country – Matara, Jaffna, Anuradhapura, Batticaloa, Kandy, Dehiwala, Homagama, and Tissamaharama. 

The artists are Thilini Kanchana, Thavarasa Thajendran, G.C. Ranathunga, Sujatha Malalanayake, R. Pragash, Nihal Sangabo Dias, Yasmin Buckman, Kasun Chamara Abeyrathne, Dr. Constantine and Noeline Fernando.
