Vidyartha still contemplating action

Vidyartha College Kandy, which is said to be contemplating court action, has not yet filed their case according to reliable sources. The threat it appears has not been gone ahead with, as there can be more issues if the case is reported to law enforcement authorities. However, the Sunday Times understands that a protest letter has been sent to the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union recognising them as the governing body responsible for rugby football. The allegation that the Ministry of Sports Council has not conducted has not been received well by the Ministry as the inquiry was conducted by three persons holding the rank of Directors and Senior Government Servants well-versed in conducting inquiries. In another turn of events the compliant is a serious backfire and the Principal of the school, who has apparently signed the letter drafted by the old boys, is in deep waters and struggling to save himself.
It is possible that the DS Senanayake College protest too might fizzle out as the Head of the School does not seem to be happy to pursue legal action and also have been convinced by some that the schools should play in the lower division.
