vocational training, sports activities and general lifestyle. As part of its mission to remove barriers that prevent people with visual disabilities from enjoying the best possible opportunities to enhance their lives, Eric Rajapakse Opticians is committed to provide funding for their activities, the company said this week.
“Not having sight or having poor eyesight is not a reason for people to be marginalised and unable to fulfill their dream,” noted Rajeev Rajapakse, Director, Eric Rajapakse Opticians, in a media statement. “It is therefore essential to increase awareness and to take measures that can help the visually handicapped to enter the job market, for instance”.
