BCAS CAMPUS launches MBA of University of Wolverhampton, UK
View(s):BCAS Campus launched the highly recognized UK’s MBA in Sri Lanka last Saturday (19th January 2013) at the Hotel Supphire, Wellawatte in collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton with 40 students from the corporate as well as the government sectors.
While Mr Andrew Hambler, Senior Lecturer in Human Resources Management graced the occasion on behalf of the University, Mr Abdur Rahuman, Chairman of BCAS presided over the function. Academic consultant Mr Mafeel and the panel of lecturers for the Programme Dr. Rohantha Athukorala, Mr. Dezil Perera, Mr. Faris Ismail, Mr. Chamara and the Chief Operations Manager Mr Fouzer, Business Development Manager Mr Isthikar and Mr Ishan Bandaraa, Assistant Manager BCAS in country programmes along with the other members of BCAS Management team also participated at the event.
Interestingly, the first cohort of 40 students, who are to be taught by local and international experts from different industries and the flying faculty of the University of Wolverhampton has an international mix of students from Europe and Asia besides Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Most of the students are high profile senior managers from banks and various other industries. Thus the MBA to be delivered by BCAS is very special and will cater to the current industry requirements.
The Features
Our programme provides the student with the opportunity to develop his/her knowledge of key business functions and their relationship with the wider strategic and international environment. The student will be able to expand his/her knowledge and understanding of the rapid changes that taking place in the modern business environment through the study of leadership, organisational change and transformation, innovation and stakeholder management.
