TINY MINDS in concert showcases talents of childhood
View(s):TINY MINDS preschool at Morawatte, Nagoda in Kandana celebrated their annual kids’ concert for the 10th consecutive year recently, at
the Town Hall in Wattala with the initiative of Rev. Sister Nilani Silva – the Principal of the Primary section of Good Sheppard Convent in Kotahena.
Directress of Tiny Minds Preschool at Morawatte Mrs.Edel Serasinghe, expressing views at the occasion stated that human life has nowadays become busier and challenging making kids education the biggest challenge for parents who were occupied full time with their jobs and working schedules. “ The first step into the world of education should be a place where a teacher would develop the child’s physical, intellectual, social and emotional powers to the fullest. Therefore, a preschool child should have freedom, a freedom to be achieved through order and self-discipline,” she said. Edel Serasinghe who has gained teaching experience of more than 10 years of child education is currently engaged in a dedicated service of adding colour and glamour to the early stages of life of a large number of children in Sri Lanka.
The concert also included several items presented by the past pupils who studied over the last ten years at the TINY MINDS preschool.
