CA Sri Lanka spearheads Lean Six Sigma concept for Lankan businesses

The Business School of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) will once again spearhead a unique programme to uplift the standards of businesses in the country by introducing the ‘Lean Six Sigma’ strategy.

Scheduled to be held on 15th February, the programme will give professionals a thorough understanding of the concept while showing them how to maximize their business success with the Lean Six Sigma strategy,

The one day programme will be conducted by two highly proficient resource personnel Mr. Dushan Chaminda Dayaratne, Senior Manager Process Improvement of Brandix i3 (Pvt)Limitedwho is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Mr. Naomal Anthony Sugathapala, Senior Consultant Process Excellence of Brandix i3 (Pvt) Limited who also possess a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

The programme which will benefit top level professionals who are at leadership level and in the strategic implementation area will cover a range of topics including the instruction to lean Six Sigma, the implementation methodology of the strategy along with its benefits, while detailing how to sustain the continuous improvement culture in an organization via the lean Six Sigma strategy.

CA Sri Lanka President Mr. Sujeewa Rajapakse said that the CA Business School has been in the forefront of offering cutting edge programmes for the upliftment of professionals from both accounting and non-accounting sectors. “The business school was also instrumental in introducing to Sri Lanka several flagship programmes with INSEAD, recognized as one of the largest and leading business schools in the world,” he said.

According to him, the Lean Six Sigma programme is yet another unique initiative launched by the Business School, in its continuing endeavor to provide the country’s professionals with the best of programmes right here in Sri Lanka.
