Newstead Girls’ College Negombo celebrated its 196th anniversary in grand style recently. The Newstead Walk, a part of the anniversary celebrations, paraded the streets of Negombo showcasing several attractive features. Over 1,000 students, teachers, parents, and past pupils participated in the event, which was organised by the Past Pupils Association.
