The remarkable day of my life

I had an opportunity to visit Malaysia to attend the Girl Guides Centenary Camp. We stayed at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We learnt many things about the culture and ways of living of the people in other countries. There were about 500 overseas participants.

‘Together we can end extreme Poverty and Hunger’ was the theme for this event. Given the challenge that we faced particularly in the current environment not only focused in Malaysia but throughout the world. I sincerely thought that the participants had to foster a greater unders tanding of one another and increase our knowledge through caring and sharing.

Oh! How exciting – There all of us got the lucky chance to meet the Prime Minister, Mr. Razzark Yassin and his wife. After that we went shopping to a huge mall near the Twin Tower of Malaysia.

So the Malaysian tour was great. I am so happy that I had the chance to visit some important places in Malaysia. I would like to specially thank Mrs. Harith Madiwaka who encouraged me and helped me a lot all the time. Finally I like to thank my parents, teachers, friends and all others who helped me in various ways.
