World’s largest luxury passenger liner calls over at Colombo Port
View(s):The world’s largest luxury passenger liner ‘Mv Queen Mary’ with more than 2,300 tourists on board called over at the Colombo harbour on Monday (February 4 -Independence Day) and was given a traditional welcome by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLPA). The passengers comprised US, British, Australian, New Zealand, South African and Canadian nationals. The one-day visit included a day excursion organised by Gemini Tours and Travels to Kandy, Pinnawala and Colombo city.
According to a SLPA statement, more than 27 such luxury carriers are scheduled to call over in Colombo this year.
