World’s top twenty MBA’s dominated by European MBA’s
A look at the top twenty MBA programs in the world showed a major representation of European campuses which accounted for 55%. While this time’s rankings showed the surge of six Australian MBA programs, three programmes were offered in both the USA and Spain, two each in UK and France, and one in Portugal, Switzerland, Denmark and Hungary.
Despite the dominance of Western & European oriented programs in this year’s rankings, the results also point to a trend occurring out towards to South East Asia. It could be stated that the performance of collaborative MBA programs in the 2012 CEO Magazine MBA rankings shows the growing demand of the one year MBA degrees for senior managers and CEO’s in the Asia region.
Australian MBA programs fight hard for top 3 spots
The Australian MBA ranking showed a more closely fought battle. While University of Wollongong Sydney Business School, Macquaire University Graduate School of Management and Australian Institute of Business (AIB) took, first, second and third place respectively. University of Melbourne, University of Sydney & University of Queensland Business School was jointly place 4th.
