‘Medicine in the Elderly Volume 2’ book launch

‘Medicine in the Elderly Volume 2’ edited by Prof. Colvin Goonaratne and Dr. Piyusha Atapattu was launched on January 11 at the auditorium of the Sri Lanka Medical Association, Colombo 7.

Among those who addressed the distinguished gathering were Dr. Narada Waranasuriya, former Vice Chancellor of the Sri Jayewardenepura University; Prof. Susirith Mendis, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna, Health Ministry Secretary Dr. Nihal Jayathilake; and Mahanama Dodampegama, Managing Director of SMM Halcyon (Pvt) Ltd.

The book has been printed and launched with a grant from the family of the late Andrew Kariyawasam.
