CfPS open day and scholarship awards ceremony
View(s):The most sought after legal education provider in the private sector in Sri Lanka, CfPS Law school will be having its open day and scholarship awards ceremony for the new students enrolling in the university of London Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Diploma in Law programmes on the 23rd of February at Galle Face Hotel from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Professor Jenny Hamilton, Director, Undergraduate Laws, University of London International Programmes, will be attending the occasion as the special guest of honour and to answer any inquires relating to these courses by prospective students and parents. CfPS chairman Mr. Saliya Peries, vice chairman Mr. Ajith Perera, CfPS managing director Mr.Nanda Muruttettuwegama, and the other lecturers also will grace the occasion to help clear any doubts, the students might be having on studying for a foreign degree and to provide a Sri Lankan perspective on studying law and how to tackle the obstacles that might come their way while studying.
CfPS is offers scholarships worth 15 million rupees every year to follow this highly esteemed degree ,and this year also they have selected 100 deserving students out over 1000 applicants .CfPS will be holding a competitive selection exam which will test the applicants’ IQ and knowledge in current affairs , general knowledge , an interview process where the applicants’ extracurricular activities, personality ,and academic achievements will be considered. The scholarships will be awarded in full, half and quarter packages according to the students’ performance and will cover the fees payable to CfPS and the University of London.
