Edexcel senior management qualification now at HRMI
View(s):Senior management competency development programmes usually have to be tailor made at an enormous cost and as such only selected few are privileged to attend such learning. Edexcel UK recently introduced the Level 7 Pre Masters in Strategic Management & Leadership to enable senior managers to develop the critical competencies essential to function effectively. Some of the most respected and best known professionals and corporate trainers contribute to this programme. The panel includes leading marketing authority Prasanna Perera and veteran strategic management guru Gihan Talgodapitiya who leads a team of current and former strategists from John Keells, Aitken Spence, Unilever, Hemas, GSK and MAS. The core learning includes four critical competencies every senior manager ought to know: Strategic Planning, Strategic Change Management, Creative and Innovative Management and Corporate Communication Strategies. This qualification taught at Human Resource Management Institute (HRMI) is an EDEXCEL BTEC Level 7 Post Graduate Professional Qualification ‘Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership’ which has been defined by UK’s Qualifications and Credit Framework as equivalent to the first year of a two year Masters enabling the holders to pursue a MBA in Sri Lanka with exemptions.
There are over 50 students pursuing Edexcel Level 7 with HRMI currently.
