Globally recognised HR Degree Pathway at HRMI
View(s):Human Resource Management Institute (HRMI) provides a seamless step-by-step pathway to enable an Advanced Level student to pursue internationally recognised professional HR qualifications from Edexcel UK which leads to Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from reputed British Universities.
Students with at least 2 subjects at AL from Commerce, Arts, Maths or Science streams and interested in pursuing a degree programme have the opportunity of following the globally recognised Edexcel BTEC Dual HND programme. Students have the rare privilege of qualifying for UK Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) as well as HND in Business Management.
This 2 year course enables students to directly enrol themselves for a BA / BSc in Management or HRM as well as for Edexcel Level 7 Pre-Masters which is a Post Graduate Qualification equivalent to the first year of a 2 year MBA (Master of Business Administration). The entire course of studies can be completed in Sri Lanka. Apart from the Higher National Diploma courses HRMI also conducts a variety of professional programmes for those interested in shorter-duration courses.
The unique feature at HRMI is every student has the opportunity to undergo a 6-month internship training attached to a HR Department. During these 6 months, students go through systematic training in many aspects of HR Management. Besides, this training becomes extremely important in students securing employment as merely following a course is deemed inadequate to secure a job in today’s competitive job market.
