A sale of miscellaneous items organised by the Girls’ Friendly Society (GFS) will be held at its headquarters at 58 Green Path, Colombo 3 on Wednesday, March 20 from 9 a.m onwards, in aid of the GFS Hostel development and expansion.
The GFS, one of Sri Lanka’s oldest women’s organizations, runs a Hostel for young women coming into the city for employment / higher studies. The refurbished GFS Hall is available for various functions such as meetings, parties and classes.
