Sethma leads Anula’s Independence Day All Island TT charge

Sethma Nethmini Weerasingha of Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda was in sublime touch at the Independence Day Celebrations All Island (Unranked) Table Tennis tournament, emphatically claiming the Under 15 Girls’ title following action at the S. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium in Mount Lavinia.

The competition, which was held on February 2, saw Anula Vidyalaya make a strong representation of its table tennis talent, as it also produced the champion of the Under 12 Girls’ category, Dewma Liyanage, who was also the Under 15 Girls’ runner-up.
Only Hiruni Inoshi of Jannadhipathi Balika Vidyalaya Nawala came close to breaking Anula’s stranglehold on proceedings, emerging runner-up in the Under 12 Girls’ segment.
