The “Mega Tourism Road Show” grand finale took place in Moscow in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Russia and the Sir Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau last week.
The road show concluded on March 25, its first phase of a tourism campaign at the shopping mall “Mega Belya Dacha” in Moscow.
The events were mainly conducted with an enchanting dancing performance by a Sri Lankan dancing troupe, liquid tea service, distribution of promotional materials and video’s on tourism industry, a release said.
Apart from the audio and video CD’s produced by the Embassy, journalists and media personnel from both Russia and Ukraine have produced 56 documentary films on Sri Lanka covering all spheres of travel and trade. Majority of these groups were coordinated and arranged by the Embassy and sponsored bythe SLTPB, it was stated.
