Sri Lanka’s premier blue chip conglomerate John Keells brought together talents and teams in the group’s diverse business units, in a unique JK Talent Night, last week at the Cinnamon Grand’s Oak Room. Organized by a team from The Managers Forum, the event intended at providing employees of JK Business Units the opportunity to shine and showcase their talents.

The finals saw 73 contestants, totalling 23 acts. For the taking was the coveted title of ‘JK Idol’ and the top category awards for dancing, singing and drama. Category winners also walked away with an impressive Rs. 100,000/- Grand Prize. Ruvindra Charith Bandara Angunawela of Cinnamon Lodge, Habarana has won the JK Talent Night Singing Category, while Ranella Jayasuriya and Carl De Zilva of JAY KAY Marketing Services bagged the JK Dancing Category .

The winners of the JK IDOL and Drama Category are J M C Sukumal Fernando, H M Ariyawanse, M K Maduranga, P N Wijewardena, Nushan Indeewara and R C P Christopher of Cinnamon Grand.

Dancing: Madarasinghe Arachchige Pradeep – Chaaya Wils, Yala
