Directed by Robert Guédiguian this 1997 French cinematic experience revolves around the two lovers, Marius and Jeannette who live in the districts North of Estaque in Marseilles. Marius lives alone in an unused cement factory which dominates the district, guard of this factory in demolition. Jeannette raises her two children only with her poor salary as a cashier. Their meeting will not be simple because, in addition to the difficulties inherent in their social situation, they are hurt by life.
