DSS, President’s College hockey champs
View(s):D. S. Senanayake College and President’s College Rajagiriya clinched the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively at the Colombo District Hockey Championships, which were worked off at Reid Avenue recently.
In the boys’ tournament final, D. S. Senanayake College edged out Royal College by a solitary goal and in the girls’ tournament final President’s College Rajagiriya trounced Musaeus College 5-0.
President’s College Rajagiriya went on to complete a good double as their Under 15 team got the better of Musaeus College in the Under 15 tournament final 2-1.
In the Under 15 boys’ tournament final, S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia defeated their traditional rivals Royal College 2-1. –Bandula M
