Suzanne jubilant at HFC sports-meet
View(s):Suzanne House produced some sterling performances to win the annual Inter-House Sports-meet of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitya, which was held at the St. Peter’s College ground in Colombo. Over 1000 students participated at the event representing houses of Suzanne, Carmel, Ambrose, Rose de Lima and Sebastian. Malmi Hirunika of Suzanne House stole the day’s spotlight by setting a new event record in the Under-13 200 metre sprint. Rev. Sr. Euphrasia Rodrigo from the Holy Family Congregation of Colombo Province graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Lushanthi Perera, a former games teacher was the Guest of Honour. The sports-meet was conducted under the guidance of Rev. Sr. Chandani Jayasuriya, the Principal of Holy Family Convent with the generous support of its teachers, students, parents and well-wishers.
