Three more probes of alleged violations are pending at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), SEC sources said.
The regulator had 20 probes pending at the time the new Chairman, Dr Nalaka Godahewa took office.

Meanwhile the regulator plans to fill the vacancies of three directors, adding that SEC recently advertised for a new position, Director Special Projects, in a bid to fast-track their 10-point agenda. “Last Friday we closed the application for the SEC Director General’s post,” a SEC source told the Business Times.
