Cocktails and fashion at RCGC awards night
View(s):After a long day of tough play, the participants of the BBDO Monthly Medal golf tournament and other members of the Royal Colombo Golf Club gathered at the Club to enjoy cocktails and live music at the BBDO Monthly Medal awards ceremony on Saturday, April 27.
The inaugural BBDO Monthly Medal which was sponsored by BBDO Lanka and held in association with the Royal Colombo Golf Club was the first ever digitised golf tournament in the 130 year history of the RCGC complete with a mobile app – The Red Ace – available for download free at www.bbdogolf.com upon registration.
The fashion show choreographed by Brian Kerkoven saw leading models such as Danielle, Wasana and Amanda modelling collections by Middle Finger and Mondy.
The fashion showcase was followed by the awards presentation where the winners and runners-up of the three Handicap Divisions as well as the Seniors and Masters in the Nett and Gross categories were awarded their respective prizes by BBDO Lanka MD Santosh Menon and, representing the RCGC, Mr. Jegatheeswaran.
