Shums and Kamar House dazzle at Crescent sports-meet
View(s):Shums House and Kamar House emerged senior and junior champions respectively at the annual Inter-House Sports Meet of Crescent School International, which was held at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo recently.
Senior champions Shums accumulated 111 points while junior champs Kamar put up a stellar performance to gather 112 points. Overall, the sports-meet was well-contested with a large number of athletes from the school keenly taking part at events. The meet was well organised with the support of staff, students and parents,who showed great enthusiasm to make this annual programme a success. The principal of the school, M.M.M. Ayub, Head of Human Resources, M.S. Sheriff, and management accountant, P.D.W.P. Wijesiriwardena, graced the occasion to encourage the participants as well as to give away medals and certificates to the winners. The director of the school, Mirak Farook, was also present at the occasion. – NA
