Heraymila to announce new owners

Heraymila Securities Ltd plans to officially announce this week its change of ownership to UAE-based Eagle Investments as well as a change in name, officials said.
“Heraymila is awaiting both the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) approval for the new ownership and change of name and we expect it will happen on May 15,” an official said. He said that Heraymila Securities, Heraymila Capitol and Heraymila Business Solutions under the Heraymila Group, which is also UAE-based, were sold to a Dubai based proprietor. He added that some names are proposed with the name ‘Eagle’ in it and will aptly reflect the new owners.
Heraymila Group has invested nearly Rs. 300 million in Sri Lanka, buying over Amana Securities in 2010 which was renamed Heraymila Securities.
