If I were a river
If I were a river I would help lots of people, animals and plants. People will take water from me and animals will come to drink water from me. I will also provide food and homes for many insects and fishes. I will also provide water to people for their domestic use
During the rainy season.
I become big and strong. During the droughts I become weaker and everyone will suffer. On my way from the mountains to the sea I create beautiful waterfalls. I fill reservoirs for people to generate hydro-electricity.
I request everyone not to pollute me by dumping garbage, chemicals and other waste, so that I can continue to give water to everyone for drinking, to bath, for cultivations and constructions. It is important to save me. Life on earth depends on the water from rivers.

The person who gave birth to me
My dear loving mother,
I do thank thee
Every time I call for thee
You always come to comfort me
When I was wrong you told me the way
That God our father wanted us to stay
All the things you do for me
Are never for your good
but always for me
Like my shadow you are there for me
Always ready to assist me
Nothing can conquer your love for me
O dear mother I really love thee
I do ask from God our father
To keep you well forever after

Ten months you carried me in your tummy
You started my life
You stayed as my heart
You gave me my morning
You had many problems
You faced many tortures
But you faced it because of me
You took me to the end of my dream
You gave your life
You sacrificed your happiness
When I was sick
You forgot your sleep
When I slept
You slept near me
You were my hands mother
I will never forget your blessings
You will be a big footprint in my heart
I love you mother
