Arethusa and TBJ Zahira set for limited overs Big Match
View(s):The second limited overs Big Match cricket encounter between Arethusa College and T.B. Jayah Zahira College will be played next Saturday (18) at the Moors Sports Club in Colombo.
Arethusa’s cricketers who are yet to impress as a team, are confident of pulling off a win at this year’s encounter although TBJ Zahira has the upper hand in repeating a possible win. The inaugural encounter, which was held last year at the Colombo Malay Cricket Ground, was won convincingly by TBJ Zahira, making them the favourites this year too. Last year the match was graced by a large crowd of Old boys, parents, and well-wishers apart from the present students of both schools, and this year too the encounter promises to draw a good following. – NA
