SSC CA and CCC SC ‘A’ enter semifinals
View(s):SSC CA (Ben Navaratne) and CCC SC ‘A’ entered the semifinals of the ongoing Inaugural Under 13 Inter Academy Cricket Tournament, conducted by Palawatta SC.
Both matches were played at Cooray Park, Colombo 6 last weekend.

In the first quarterfinal, SSC CA (Ben Navaratne) defeated Roy Dias Cricket Academy by 28 runs in a low-scoring game, while CCC School of Cricket ‘A’ downed BRC by 83 runs.
In the first quarterfinal, Dineth Kannangara bowled a nagging length for SSC CA (Ben Navaratne) to capture three vital wickets for only seven runs off 3.5 overs against Roy Dias CA.
In the other quarterfinal, the pick of the bowlers was Kanishka Gallage of CCC SC ‘A’ who captured 3 for 10 against BRC.
