The SSC Open Tennis Championship was in full swing last week as riveting action in several junior age groups, comprising the Under 14, Under 16 and Under18 categories, unraveled at the club’s courts.

A number of extremely gifted emerging players such as Chehan Fernando, Nethmi Waduge, Adawan Pushparaj and Dhanushka Abeywardena produced several displays of scintillating tennis, keeping keen spectators on the edge of their seats.
