While Freida Pinto (above), Sonam Kapoor and Vidya Balan wowed the crowds on the Cannes red carpet, actress Aishwarya Rai arrived for a centenary celebration of Indian cinema. The stunning actress, once called the world's most beautiful woman, will be guest of honour at an event on Sunday evening celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema. Meanwhile her father-in-law actor Amitabh Bachchan, in Cannes to promote his film 'The Great Gatsby', spoke to fans at the premiere in Hindi and later a tweeted: "Acknowledging Cannes in recognising 100 yrs of Indian Cinema, it was absolutely imperative for me to address, in my Mother tongue!"
