Browns’ MD Murali resigning
View(s):Murali Prakash, Group Managing Director at Browns PLC is moving out in August.
He told the Business Times that he is taking a 3- month break from work to attend to personal matters in Australia and that this is a long time to be away from his job. “It’s important that I need to be in Australia from August onwards for three months and I thought it best to resign and attend to my personal matters,” he said.
He said he’ll be returning towards the year end but is yet to confirm options pertaining to his next job. “I am still finalizing some options,” he added.
Mr. Prakash is known to have revived the Browns Group when he took over the reins some seven years ago.
