Virtusa revenues up 20% in 2012/13, forecasts $ 60 mln 2014 revenue bump
View(s):US-based Virtusa recently issued a statement highlighting its full year financials, for its fiscal year ending March 31, 2013; wherein it reported an increase in revenue of 20 per cent to US$333.2 million, up from $277.8 million, which was its revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012.
Additionally, the company also recorded fourth quarter revenues of $89.9 million, up 21 per cent year-on-year, and 4 per cent, sequentially.
At the same time, the company projected the following for 2014; “Fiscal year 2014 revenue is expected to be in the range of $376 to $392 million, with diluted [Earnings per Share] of $1.22 to $ 1.38. First quarter fiscal year 2014 revenue is expected to be in the range of $89.5 to $91.5 million, with diluted [Earnings per Share] of $0.26 to $0.30″.
Virtusa’s statement also showed a full-year income from operations of $32.9 million, which was an increase of 37 per cent over $23.9 million earned during the 12 months of 2012. Within the same period, its income from operations, for the fourth quarter of 2013, was $9.4 million, up from $9.1 million for the third quarter of 2013, and $7.1 million for the fourth quarter of 2012.
