The old perennial favorites, the stars of the 70’s and 80’s will be on show at a musical fiesta organized by the Management Club on Saturday 13th July at the Museaus College auditorium.
“The Evergreens Live” is bound to be an entertaining evening for the entire family with Annesley Malawana and the Super Chimes taking the lead role on stage as the curtains go up for the show at 7 pm
Performing a variety of the old favorite songs thereafter will be, Anil Bharathi, Mariazelle Gunatileke, Dharmaratne Brothers, Paul Fernando, Walter Fernando, Ronnie Leitch, Priyantha Fernando, Rajiv Sebastian, Priya Peiris and Neil Warnakulasuriya who will showcase the hits of the 70’s and 80’s those everlasting melodies that many a music lover would want to enjoy, time after time.
While some of the singers will take the stage on their own, some will be adorned by the rhythmic movements of the pretty lasses from the Channa Upuli dancing troupe.
With inimitable Vijaya Corea as the compere the show is bound to be without a dull moment even between the performances of the singers and the dancers. With some valuable gifts, including two return airline tickets on offer in the entrance ticket draw this is bound to be a night to remember for all participants.
