Anura enters writing with ‘Sunandalage Kathawa’
View(s):Actor, playwright, lyricst, journalist and TV programme producer Anura Kalubowila’s maiden novel ‘Sunandalage Kathawa’ was launched at Sri Vinayalaknarama temple, Maradana recently.

Based in Milan, Italy now, Anura had been actively involved in Sri Lankan theatre and music. Started as the president of Sinhala Drama Club of Ananda College, Anura later worked under a number of well-known playwrights including Sugath Samarakone.
Anura also produced plays and worked as an assistant director in films. He also had written songs to welknown singers like Sanath Nandasiri, Shelton Perera and J. A. Milton Perera.
Migrated to Italy, Anura has been a live wire in many cultural and art related activities there.
