Galle District's Kadawath Sathara team bagged the men's Kabaddi Championshipship after performing outstandingly at a competition organised by the Galle District Sports Ministry. In the final, Kadawath Sathara beat Baddegama District 26-22. The team comprised IKR Kumara, LPP Sameera, GM Gunasekera, MDHP de Silva (Capt), DPA de Silva, KR Silva, KGS Chathuranga and MHK Mendis.
