It’s a Matter of Love, English cinema in Lanka
View(s):‘It’s a Matter of Love’, Sri Lankan English movie is the latest directorial venture of veteran filmmaker Roy de Silva who made his way back to cinema after a break for more than two decades. The film is now being screened at the Majestic Cineplex, Bambalapitiya and many other theatres around the country.
Connected to Roy’s earlier movie ‘It’s a Matter of Time’, the film features Irangani Serasinghe, Vijaya Nandasiri, Lucky Dias, Anarkalli Aakarssha, Rosy Senanayake, Saranga Dissasekara, Nehara Peiris, Ronnie Leitch, Keshiya sLeitch and Corrine Almeida in the lead roles. Saranga Dissasekara and Anarkalli Aakarssha playing opposite each other as teenage lovers, story, screenplay and dialogues of the film is written by Roy de Silva while his wife yesteryear star Sumana Amarasinghe played the role of production executive, costumes designer and locations coordinator.
Praveen Jayaratne edited and handled sounds while Pushpakumara Bandara cinematographed and Priyantha Pathirage assisted the direction of ‘It’s Matter of Love’.
