Youngest to get BIT first class from Colombo Uni
View(s):Buddhika Anjali Ratnayake has received a first class degree in Information Technology (External) from the Colombo University. She also received two gold medals for best performance (Best project for Institute of National Education, Maharagama) at the convocation held at BMICH, Colombo.
A product of Musaeus College, Colombo, she received excellent results at the London, O/L and A/L exams. She is the youngest to have received a first class degree (BIT) from the Colombo University.
She has shown prowess in different fields. Buddhika has studied music under maestro Nanda Malini and launched a CD of her songs (Punchi Sindu). She has written two books ‘Amalige Sihinaya’ and ‘Muukalane Holman’.
Buddhika received an award for Amaalige Sihinaya from First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksha at Araliyagaha Mandiraya at H.N.B ‘Handa Maama’ Children’s programme.
Buddhika is the daughter of Dammika P. Ratnayake of the S.L.B.C and Mrs. Deepani Ratnayake. She is at present a Software Engineer in a private firm.
