St. Mary’s Negombo are Under 17 champs
View(s):St. Mary’s College Negombo emerged champions of the All-Island Under-17 Boys’ Football Tournament 2013 conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association last weekend. In the decisive final victorious St. Mary’s beat Hewawitharana College by 3 goals to 2 on penalties. Kinniya Central College and Sri Sumangala College Kandy was placed third and fourth respectively. The tournament was held on May 18, 19 and 20 at the Public Stadium, St, Xavier’s College and Football Federation grounds in Mannar.
