Tibhar TT tourney takes off on June 29
View(s):The Tibhar Sports Club, which has organized an All-Island Novices Intermediate Table Tennis Championships for Boys, girls, men and women, will be worked off on June 29 and 30 at S. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium, Mt Lavinia.
This tournament has been held for the past eight years and is becoming more popular among school paddlers, who have benefited immensely by taking part in this tournament.
In the last year over 650 players took part in this tournament and Buddhi Hamien of Kothalawala Defense University and Hasini Sandeepani of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda won the Most Outstanding Player awards.
