London Stock Exchange Group uses Dialog’s network to expand service footprint
View(s):The London Stock Exchange Group PLC (LSEG) has extended the services it runs on Dialog’s International MPLS (iMPLS) network to support Business Process Outsourcing services from WNS Global Services Pvt Ltd in Colombo to London.
The iMPLS connectivity solution offered by Dialog Enterprise, the corporate solutions arm of premier mobile services provider Dialog Axiata PLC seamlessly connects London Stock Exchange’s premises in London, UK with their supplier WNS in Colombo extending the existing link with MillenniumIT in Malabe, according to a Dialog statement.
The solution, running on SEAMEWE3 and SMEMEWE4 between Colombo and London, ensures consistently high performance standards for network up-time and latency with traffic auto re-routed to sustain connectivity in case of any under-sea cable failure.
Rohantha Rodrigo, Chief Information Officer at MillenniumIT said, “I am pleased to say that our relationship with Dialog Enterprise has been fruitful and pragmatic and the service is meeting our expectations for mission critical services.”
Jeremy Huxtable, Chief Officer – Dialog Enterprise noted that, “We continue to invest in our infrastructure in order to improve service levels including our new 4G-LTE (Long Term Evolution) fixed and mobile network. To further improve our international capability, Dialog has joined a consortium of telecom companies to lay a high speed under-sea cable called the Bay of Bengal Gateway that will connect Sri Lanka to the world by 2014”.
