500th ATM of Bank of Ceylon (BoC) opens in Matara

Bank of Ceylon, Sri Lanka’s No 1 Bank opened its 500th ATM at the District Secretariat of Matara on 10th June 2013. BOC’s island wide ATM network provides a greater convenience to its customers.

Bank’s ATMs are at branches and service points offering uninterrupted service 24-hours, 365-days to customers. BOC ATM network is linked with VISA, VISA PLUS, MASTER, CIRRUS and MAESTRO and therefore the bank’s customers could operate through any ATM in Sri Lanka as well as millions of ATMs across the world.

ATMs facilitate cash withdrawals, balance inquiry, and obtain details of transactions as well as settlement of utility bills (water & electricity) to customers.

Bank of Ceylon has invested heavily in expanding their touch points and network since the bank is committed to providing its customers with a quality and efficient service. This was one of the milestones of the bank’s commitment to developing the ATM network to shape the bank for the future.
