The Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Southern provinces topped the GCE- Advanced Level 2012 performance, analysis carried out by the Research and Development Branch of the National Evaluation and Testing Service of the Examinations’ Department revealed
Sabragamuwa province had the best performance, with 13,049 passing in all three subjects, out of the 20,109 students who sat the exam.Eastern province was last on the list with only 58.22% securing passes in all three subjects .
