Wycherley Kiddies Activity Day 2013
View(s):The Kiddies Activity Day of Wycherley International School, tailor made for the little ones from Play Group to Grade 2, was held on 19th June 2013 at the Bloomfield Grounds.
The entire ground was a riot of colour, with beautiful kites adorning the area, kites being the theme of the event. The events had captivating titles like the “Run to Arugam Bay”, “Baby Elephants Go Nuts”, “Dan Genapu Maalu”, “Junior Masterchef” and so on and the children were clad to suit the events.
The kids’ band was a display of perfection. The Drill display using Coconut Shells to keep the beat was also exceptionally good. Even the teachers were not left out, as they had an event, which sent the children into the raptures. The Chief Guest was Mr. Bandula Ekanayake, Director General of the BMICH. “Fancy Me” was the caption of the Fancy Dress Parade for the Kids from Nursery to LKG.
The Children splendidly enacted the roles of a Farmer, Fisherman, An Archer, Tube of Toothpaste and so on. They were loudly cheered by the spectators. This event brings the curtain down on another Academic Year in the calendar of the Elementary section.
